This is our Root Guru Lord His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche’s wish. Guru of many Gurus, He’s now residing at the feet of Maitreya Buddha. A decade-old promise must be fulfilled, to build a fortress of Maitreya in the human realm by the members of the previous centre known as Jamchen Buddhist Centre, now New Nalandra. It feels like He is still waiting for it to be completed for the dedicated students currently with his fellow emanation of Maitreya, His Eminence Zimo’g Rinpoche.
The wish to be reborn in the same generation as Maitreya Buddha steps into the world. Only a fortunate few can receive this prophesy laid by living Maitreya himself (HECTR) for our perusal. It could be pursued to bring benefits now.
There will be a Buddha garden, a coffee lounge, views of Stupas and sunsets, prayer wheels and circumambulation treks; diverse chapels for dedicated Deities such as Vajrayogini, Tara, Manjushri & Dharmapalas; a Maitreya village with a Buddha hall and Buddhist arts & crafts. A self-sufficient community with our own souvenir for others to carry into the future.
The seed that has gone underground for 10+ years now wants to grow roots and shoots. Even though it’s a long shot vision, I, Zimo’g Rinpoche am wishing in earnest for this dream to come true and with your help and guidance we can manifest it. May we together fulfil this great wish to benefit our fellowship for many eons.
