"The Revered Sakya master, His Eminence Kyabje Dorje Chang Luding Khenchen Jamyang Tenpei Nyima Rinpoche, the 75th head of the Ngor tradition of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism, has passed into parinirvana in Bodh Gaya, India, the pure land of Buddha's enlightenment. You are warmly to join a vajrasattva marathon led by one of Rinpoche's students, with prayers to the Maha Guru, generated in deep prayer by HH Sakya Gongma 41st Trichen, Vajradhara of the holy ones' four kayas, to remain active for the sake of Dharma and beings.
There will be no Losar celebration for this year, although Nalandra sends best wishes for a happy year of regenerated mind and spirit by the downpour of blessings of the Gurus of past, present and future. Happy Losar, happy Dharma life and New Year. Tashi delek." HEZR

His Eminence Zimo'g Rinpoche performs this practice annually prior to the turning of the New Year to bring prosperity for the year ahead.
King of the Dharmapalas, Mahakala brings peace in the world in general, and helps individual Vajrayana practitioners on the path to Buddhahood. It is our privilege to be welcomed to join this timely and necessary act of compassion. All Buddhists who have taken refuge and been endorsed for a Vajrayana initiation of any kind can participate.
Taking part in the full three days is recommended. It has been advised by many great masters that participation from start to finish is most beneficial for your spiritual development, as well as helping to maintain the momentum of the group energy to bring maximum benefit during the Puja and for all beings in the long run.
Each spring HEZR offers an Animal Blessing Ceremony for the wellbeing of all animals past and present. Inspired by World Animal Day, this is a great opportunity to assist our animal friends on the path to liberation as well as being an enjoyable day for all of the family.
The ceremony includes recitation of Sutra, Mantras and offering prayers for the health, longevity and release from suffering of our beloved animal beings. The animals are given blessing cords as well as blessed water and food. Following the ceremony we will enjoy a vegetarian picnic lunch.
All are welcome to participate by bringing their pet, or that of a relative/friend. Children may even bring their stuffed toys for blessing! If you intend to bring any large animals, please let us know. The names and photographs of any animals that need prayers can be brought for the blessing if they are not able to come or are no longer with us.
Date and location for 2023 to be advised.
21 - 24 April 2023
Mahakala is the wrathful and powerful emanation of Avalokiteshvara. This deity is celebrated in all Tibetan monasteries at the end of every year during the Grand Mahakala Puja, when Tibetan monks perform a traditional sacred dance wearing the mask of Mahakala.
Six-arms White Mahakala is one of the most famous forms of Mahakala and well known for his power to grant wishes and support the comfort and economic well-being of tantric practitioners. On his right hand Mahakala holds a chopper, a hand-drum and a precious jewel that shines with 5 different colors. On his left hand he holds a trident, a hook and a skull-cup (kapala) full of jewels. He stands on two elephant headed beings both holding a mongoose that spits jewels.
