Amidst many hours of writing on other articles such as (WIG) WHere is Ghost, (SOS) Stigma Or Stamina, (PW) Propeller Wisdoms, (JOY) Journey Of Yes, (HERB) Homemade Emptiness Recipe Buddhsim, (PDF) Pure Dandy Forgiving; this dreams arrives when our next newsletter is waiting for my article. A plethora of dreams, this one in particular is among them. An inherent gimmick, the arrival of a scintillating dummy shift, which is other than a form, and with careful judgment, it could be a complete concept to ponder its meaning without a reasonable doubt. The reason I call it dummy is that it could be either a devil’s act or heaven’s blessing. In any case, the aftermath of a positive dream is a significant part of my usual trajectory towards understanding the essence of my full will to have power over this mind. I am a strong believer that my own spit-up will give me more indicative clues, and by taking it back, I believe it will heal both the body and mind structure. The teachings, prayers, and practices are merely preventive methods rather than acts of self-examination. In my aroused (awakened) state like always, I could see that good dreams are the size of a sesame seed, but they gradually fill the farm of explanations and rumination to reveal how fascinatingly beautiful and long they are. I tried to take notes as I reflected. I have not mentioned anything that was not part of my dream state; however, I would like to explain a bit more once the story concludes.
The Dream Story: (TDS)
Timeless Dream Shipshape
I am only giving here the essential parts of the dream. One particular practitioner, named Maya (I guess her full name could be Queen Maya Devi), delved deep into (my favourite topic) the realm of Mudra, Mantra, and Meditation (in the narration I will use the word Marvels where Mudra & Mantra are jointly expressed in its original sense and use Mudra only where it thinks). She was known for her unwavering dedication and her thirst for subtle/mystical/esoteric/ celestial initiate-level growth. Maya spent hours immersed in Meditation, seeking to uncover the mysteries that lay within her core consciousness.
One day, while deep in Meditation, Maya experienced a profound vision. She saw herself standing in a vast, ethereal landscape, surrounded by shimmering light. As she looked down, she noticed her hands forming a specific unseen Mudra, and her speech an unheard Mantra. She decided to bring this Mudra & Mantra into her waking life, curious about its potential significance.
Maya began incorporating the Marvel into her daily Meditation practice. As she chanted her unheard Mantra and held the Mudra, she felt a surge of energy flowing through her body. Her mind became focused, and her connection to the divine deepened. She noticed that her intentions manifested more effortlessly, and she experienced a sense of profound alignment with the Karma (an exhaustion of adventitious fictitious flaws).
As Maya’s practice continued to evolve, she began to notice something extraordinary. The Marvels she had discovered had a hidden power, a power that extended beyond her own transformation. Whenever she performed them in the presence of others, she witnessed miracles unfolding before her eyes.
People who had been suffering from physical ailments found relief, and emotional wounds were healed. The Marvels seemed to amplify the power of their own intentions, bringing about a profound shift in their lives. Maya became known as a healer, revered for her ability to invoke miracles through the interplay of Mudra, Mantra, and Meditation.
However, Maya soon realised that the true source of these miracles wasn’t the Marvel itself, but the collective belief and intention of those who witnessed it. The Marvels served as a catalyst, a symbol that ignited the power within each individual to heal themselves.
With this newfound understanding, Maya shared her wisdom with others, teaching them the power of their own minds and the importance of intention. She emphasized that the magic and miracles they sought were not external forces but inherent within themselves.
In time, Maya’s teachings reach far and wide, touching the lives of countless individuals. The realm of mind, mantra, and meditation became a beacon of hope and transformation for those seeking self-realization in my dream. Then the Dream stopped!
Teaching from Excelled Dream
As a Buddhist follower, it is unfathomable to follow the lines, guidelines, and guidance, and on top of that, the gaps need to be filled with our understanding and knowledge derived from books and teachers. In other words, the dots are infinite to connect with each other or to the network of conditioning factors. The system of evolution is not what we think it would be; in other words, it is extremely complex in its flow and simple in its complexities. Moreover, being filled with many more extra accessories in both theory and practices makes life very short to discover the best taste of both worlds.
While I was sleeping, I was unconscious and had forgotten what I knew and had learned, but the mind was not. It was more alert for the first time in 24 hours and played with its own toys. This behavior is like that of a child - sometimes making sense and most times resulting in tragic screaming, crying, and feeling ambushed, known as nightmares. Just like a child is in harmony, the mind plays a perfect game to its previous will (before sleep during the day).
What all this means is if you can afford to forget or let go of all knowledge and undeserved understandings just once, and if Maya was right to stick to the three words of MUDRA, MANTRA, AND MEDITATION, then you’ve got your life back. Let me explain further.
If we fully understand these three words and utilize them in both literal and profound meanings, there might be no need for debates and discussions. Or, it could be that the necessity for such conversations has led us to address the right subject at the right time.
Mudra, a concept we both know and don’t know. To me, Mudra is part of Mahamudra, and adding “Maha” to it serves as an adjective to emphasize the profundity of Mudra. Within the Kagyud lineage, there are 5 types of Mudra or Chagya:
1. Great seal (Mudra) of bodhicitta
2. Great seal (Mudra) of deity
3. Great seal (Mudra) of fervent devotion
4. Great seal (Mudra) true nature
5. Great seal (Mudra) of dedication.
In essence, all of them require a significant level of self-reliance and self-realization.
Focusing solely on Mudra (CHAGYA) unveils a philosophy of the mind and its dormant potential. It is all-encompassing, exclusive, and transcends pervasiveness and dominance.
Furthermore, there are three sets of Mudras: Karma Mudra, Samaya Mudra, and Jnana Mudra. Within Mahayana, there are 4 Mudras (or 4 seals):
1. Everything is inherently empty
2. Everything is impermanent
3. Everything is conditioned by affliction
4. Peace is found only in Nirvana.
Through these sets, profound teachings are preserved like a treasure trove. Regardless of how much one knows about the aforementioned concepts, reflecting on them, even superficially, can open the gateway towards future possibilities. You can adopt these as your vow, aim your bow, and direct the arrow towards the continuously emerging destination.
It has been my yearning to discover the best reason for these three things, which have also been my interest in leading this life in the most admired and meaningful way through minding versus thinking. If I have received this dream accordingly, I am utterly devoted to Lady Maya, the queen of miracles. May she guide for lives to come.
In a nutshell, Mudra, Mantra, and meditation go hand in hand. When you focus on meditation, your mind becomes meditative, and the Chakras of mantra and Mudra are in a harmonious shift. You tap into the flow of Mudra when you ask the right questions to understand where it should lead, ultimately gaining power of the mind. Keep your attention at bay and symphony in your heart and mind, especially during the recitation.
Mudra is more than relevant hand gestures; it signifies a stamp of your existence as well as a system that operates independently, much like the rotation of the Earth globe, requiring no external assistance. This sentience within our body is crucial, and nothing is more important to it than the primordial game-changer that has been on hold throughout the ages. By observing the illusionary play of Maya, one can transform from feeling mundane to becoming a genuine embodiment of love, faith, and compassion. This transformation follows a path of culmination through various levels of improvement and superiority.
Magic, miracles, experiences, insights, paradoxes, love, faith, headway, breakthrough, Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are all at our disposal, especially when they seem to not be. If you default to seeking elsewhere, then focus on cultivating the same field of mind where the seed of the great Buddha has been sown.
SO BEEN GIVEN TO US!
