Vajrayana Practice Discourses

Wednesday Evening

This class is now closed.

In this class we sit in a circle and share our knowledge/skills in Vajrayana practices and rituals such as recitation, mudras, malas, mantras, vajra and bell, damaru, prostrations and offering bowls. Please share your expertise in any of these areas for mutual benefit. Questions are also welcomed.

This class will run until the end of 2018. It is timely for us to prepare for the many upcoming Vajrayana events across Australia, including the Mahakala Puja and Vajrayogini retreat for Nalandra, and visits by His Holiness 42nd Sakya Trizin and His Eminence Luding Khen Rinpoche (during which higher Vajrayana empowerments are being offered). Rinpoche believes we have sufficient knowledge among us to run the class while he takes Sabbatical retreat leave (though he will still attend the Saturday program to encourage regular Dharma Discourses and meditation).

It is recommended to bring your ritual items such as vajra and bell/damaru.

Rinpoche says Dharma Discourses were practiced during Buddha’s era and it is noted as one of the highest meritorious acts of the four generosities, the gift of Dharma.
